A Distinguished Scientific Visit to the Laser Institute for Research and Applications – Beni Suef University

As part of the Fulbright Program, the Laser Institute for Research and Applications welcomed Professor Douglas Rainey, Professor of Chemistry at the University of South Dakota, during his scientific visit to Beni Suef University.

 During his visit to the Institute, Dr. Rainey met with several faculty members and researchers, delivering a specialized scientific lecture on the latest technologies in the use of supercritical and ionic liquids and the extraction of bioactive compounds. He also discussed ways to employ these technologies in research applications within the field of laser science and its biological and industrial applications.

 Dr. Rainey expressed his appreciation for the Institute's research capabilities, its advanced laboratories and equipment, and the high level of scientific expertise among its young researchers.

 This visit is part of the University's efforts to enhance international cooperation and transfer global expertise and is one of a series of events implemented by the Institute to support scientific research and knowledge exchange with international experts.
